Overview

With LawPay, you can store a client's credit for future use, relieving the headache of contacting clients to re-collect their payment information.

Saving a Card for Recharging

The first time you collect payment from a client on Collect Payment screen, you can save this card for future payments. Selecting the checkbox securely stores the card to be charged again in the future.

Recharging an Existing Card

You can recharge a client’s credit card to pay an invoice, make a trust request or deposit funds into an account.

To recharge a client’s credit card in LawPay:

  1. Select the Collect Payment button on the home page or from Quick Actions.

  2. Choose In-Office Payment

  3. Select the Contact

  4. Select the Apply to option to apply the payment.

  5. Select the card you wish to charge.

  6. Click Make Payment.

Note: This card will automatically show up next time you go to collect a payment from this client
