Creating Time Entries with Two Digits After Decimal (example .15)

Overview

You must update the Billing & Invoice Preferences to enter time entries with two digits after the decimal.

By default, time entry durations are formatted with one digit after the decimal point, such as 3.1 or .3. However, if your law firm tracks time in 15-minute increments, you may want to enter two digits after the decimal point: 3.15 or .35.

You will need to update a Firm Preference to enter time entries with two digits after the decimal. Note: Only the Admin User of your law firm's MyCase account can do this.

Setting Preferences

  1. Click Settings

  2. Select the Client Billing tab

  3. Click Edit Preferences in the Billing & Invoice Preferences section

  4. Select Display 2 numbers after the decimal point

  5. Click Save Preferences
