Offering discounts on an invoice is a valuable business practice for many firms. If your firm offers discounts and would like them to be reflected, you can add them when creating or editing an invoice. Discounts are applied to the invoice total after creating line items. You can apply a percentage or fixed dollar discount to an invoice by selecting the drop-down next to the $ field. Once a discount is added, the Total Amount reflects the discount.
