Familiar LawPay Features

Payment Pages

The easiest way to process a payment in LawPay is through the Payment Page you're already familiar with. Just have the client submit the payment directly through the page. You can accept:

  • Debit & Credit Cards

  • eCheck

  • PayLater (where your clients can pay in installments while your firm gets paid the full invoiced amount up front)

Key Tip: Law firms with a payment link on their website collect 3x more payments.

Expand Your Payment Options

You can include secure payment links in emails and invoices, create payment plans with Scheduled Payments, and offer contactless payments using QR codes.

Updates to LawPay

Home Dashboard

  • Here, you’ll find a generalized overview of daily activities and a financial snapshot of invoices, online payments, and total transactions submitted.

  • You’ll also see quick action buttons at the top of the home page that are also available in-app from the “+” symbol in the top right corner.

Saved Payment Methods (Card Vault)

Within a contact you can manage their Saved Payment Methods which allows you to store cards & eCheck information, so they can be charged again later. This feature also makes the payment process easier for repeat clients.

What’s New in LawPay

Contacts

Contacts are now at the heart of your LawPay invoicing and billing process. Adding contacts and companies manually or by importing them will allow you to have a smoother and more efficient billing process.

Invoicing

Easily create invoices for new or existing contacts with custom branding and line items. The below articles will guide you through this new process.

Time Tracking & Expenses

Our built-in timers simplify time tracking, allowing you to use up to ten timers for yourself or others to capture every billable hour. You can also add reimbursable expenses incurred for a client or case. When assigned to a case, tracked time and expenses are automatically included in that case’s invoice.

Trust Accounting

Trust Accounting lets you allocate and track trust funds for clients with multiple cases, managing dedicated allocations and minimum balances for each case.

Settings

User Settings lets you add unlimited users at no extra cost and customize permissions for each active user.
